Aloo pakora recipe, potato pakora recipe, aloo bajji, potato fritter or potato bajji is a very popular Indian snack. I love to have crispy fritters like Potato bajji or banana fritters on rainy evenings. That is always a perfect and satisfying snack for me.  

This recipe is a delicious and simple snack we prepared with potato and gram flour.

It is a quick and easy snack prepared with thinly sliced peeled potatoes dipped in the gram flour batter and frying until golden and crispy, deep fry the slices to perfection. 

The perfect Aloo Pakoras are always crispy outside and soft inside. You can enjoy this pakoras with a hot cup of tea and it is perfect for cold weather. 

For slicing the potatoes you can use a sharp knife or slicer then the potatoes will be thin and it will cook perfectly and quickly otherwise it will be raw inside.

If the batter is perfect, anyone can make this recipe quickly. And it is difficult to get the structure and consistency of pakoras right when the batter is not perfect. So prepare carefully while preparing the batter and then make sure that each potato slice is coated completely in the batter and fried golden crispy.

Potato 

Gram flour/Besan 1 cup

Rice flour ½ cup

Jeera ½ tsp

Salt to taste

Red chilly powder 1 tsp

Oil for frying
